Taking the time to look

Must be a common theme for blippers.
Having gotten stuck in the aftermath of a traffic accident that shut the motorway a simple journey home became epic. When we arrived we just wanted to chill in the garden - but somehow that morphed into putting out all the brassica and strumming some of the wilder bits.

Eventually though it was time for a G&T and a wander around to appreciate this years hard recovery work.

The iris were covered in these little fellows, I'm tentatively identifying him as a Black and Yellow Longhorn Beetle, because, well, I don't know what else he could be? But if anyone else does then I'd love to know.
