Camera obscura

We have more in common than we think

Reflection

I rarely talk about personal stuff; I have developed over time a modesty about it. I totally understand why people do and I very much appreciate their willingness to open their heart so we can better see the world through their eyes.

On the other hand, I feel I should try to share more about photography; not that I am an expert nor do I have a particular talent but discussing more about my approach could perhaps open the possibility of interesting exchanges.

I realized over time that what I like the most to shoot is the contrast and the possible (imaginary?) link between elements in a photograph. In this one for example, I like the fact that the little girl's doll is bald as well as the men she is looking at. There is a contrast but at the same time, something unites them.

I also like that a photo leaves room for several interpretations. What I have seen in it might not found an echo with you and that is the beauty of it.
