Bog Jumping
Sometimes it's necessary to jump over a bog.
Forrest took the old man out into the Dales for a Father's Day treat, to take a walk up Great Whernside. Interesting that this should coincide with me being crooked, so I was unable to give him a beasting! It's actually the first time I've ever walked up from Kettlewell, as opposed to running up to the summit, mostly in the fell race. I saw things today I've never noticed before, including great swathes of cottongrass.
Looking at Forrest's form here, trying to keep his brand new shoes clean (what was he thinking?), I'm working on him to enter the Yorkshire Bog Jumping Championship later in the year. He should do well!
