Holiday week

Day 1. Ickworth , an Italianate palace in the heart of Suffolk.

I am leading the Aylesbury National Trust Support group on their annual holiday. We have been to Ickworth, a NT property and well worth a visit.  The rotunda building is very unusual and some of the contents,  pictures and silver, are priceless.

Very hot and sunny but now cooling off in the air conditioned Holiday Inn, built into the Norwich City football ground at Carrow Road.
