Bee Orchid...

It's hot today... much too hot to do anything strenuous and I don't have to work today so I had a bit of a walk around the little nature reserve at the old fuel store for RAF Little Walden.

I didn't take much in the way of lenses just having a 50mm standard with me so when I found this Bee Orchid I just had to go home and come back with a more suitable lens to take this photograph.

Such a beautiful flower and I guess often overlooked...
