the berlin wall

mauer park - east side of the berlin wall.
the longest stretch of the wall still standing.

great atmosphere right behind the wall as well: dads pulling their sons and daughters up the hill on sleds so they could laugh and slide down again... so precious.

it is the most frigid here in berlin.. it was -11C.. definitely took some prodding and coaxing and a cup of tea before i even wanted to go back outside.
i was fine with my indoors-potential-blip from this morning.. it would have sufficed.

but oh no, it was totally worth it. what an amazing night.. the wind wasn't too bad. and if it was, i couldn't feel it.
wonderful last night with the girls in berlin. kaiser soze for dinner.. finally got my german sausages and mustard. success!

thank you stephanie. thank you coco. you two have been such an amazing joy to spend time with here. thank you for letting me crash and interrupt your daily activities for TEN days. TEN. oh my.
