2017 Saturday -- Whale Rock Reservoir

Whale Rock Reservoir is full! That's the water supply for this coastal community!

In the upper left of the photo, between the two hills is the dam that drains to the sea. Our community of Cayucos is just beyond the dam. Our house is north of the dam and on a hill, so if the dam broke in an earthquake, we would not be subjected to the flood waters.
