A cleaner beach

A good start to Sunday. I did my first Beach Watch on behalf of the Marine Conservation Society today. We measured out 100 metres of shoreline and then proceeded to pick up as much rubbish as possible. We were working against the tide so got about 75 mins of picking in before we were under water. Given that all of us thought that the beach looked pretty clean before we started, to find 50kgs of rubbish was amazing! Truly an eye opener for me!
