Father's Day

An amazing race, drama up and down the field right up until the final lap.

Overall the verdict is that it was a great Le Mans. The new people seemed to enjoy themselves, and us old hands had a great time.

We packed up after the race and then had a really good run up through France. I'm writing this from home and it's not even midnight yet.

First Father's Day since my dad died and I have to admit to feeling a bit miserable this morning. Seeing this little Peugeot 504 in amongst the super cars in the car park was a great reminder of very happy times though ( he had several and loved them ).
