Garden of Memories
It is almost a year since my sister passed away at the Isabel Hospice, so today we attended a remembrance ceremony organised by the Hospice. Family and friends of those who had died placed named wooden sunflowers in pots on the lawn of a garden centre which hosted the event, the pots arranged to form a giant sunflower. The names of all those being remembered were read out.
Along with music and readings, it felt an appropriate way to remember our loved ones.
The event lasted less than an hour, which was enough in the hot sunshine!
