Father's Day heatwave

We decided to celebrate Father's Day with a walk on Scout Scar looking for orchids. It has certainly been hot these last few days, and we were delighted to find a host of fragrant and lesser butterfly orchids, a few frogs and ( my favourite ) a fly orchid.
Then home for the second barbecue of the weekend! This weather is almost unbelievable we have been sitting in the shade! Even Pepper needed to lie down for a while, and I had to wait until the evening to do gardening. Can it continue?
