Headdress
We headed down in the mid twenties heat to Midleton today in east Cork, bandit country. Revisiting a spot I blipped just over a year ago. Today was the official opening of Alex's sculpture. I expected a handful. It was mobbed. A large contingent from the Choctaw nation was there too. Pipe band, Choctaw singing, local choirs, too many speeches, some strange. But it was still moving, the sense of solidarity from then to now, from there to here, from them to us.
