Weekend Trip

We're heading up North for a couple of days away. Nothing fancy, just a few days respite from the hurly burly of our increasingly busy day jobs.

It's unpaid leave, but worth it for the sanity it will restore.

En route we stopped off in Montrose. I remember the main drag as being decent for shops, cafes etc - but that must have been some time ago, as now it's very run down in my view.

Symptomatic of the country's High Streets no doubt.
