First Raspberries

The raspberry canes in our garden have swung into full production and I picked a good crop today (over 100g). Some didn't make it as far as the pot though - pick one, eat one. They are rather scrummy.

We have had a few odd handfuls in the last week, and our granddaughter enjoyed a few (under granddad’s supervision) when they called the other day.

A splash of cream and that is pudding sorted for tonight.

Another early dog walk this morning (6 a.m.) - we managed an hour and I even persuaded Milo to join Finlay for a paddle in the beck.

Off to return Milo to our son .. relative peace should descend once more.
