Who needs Glastonbury?

One of the events which made us decide to live where we do was standing in this field a  year ago* thinking, "would we want to live in a village with it's own music festival?"

Great fun - this is The Swaps, a local band who were 3rd from the top of the bill.  I quite enjoyed their mix of harmonica & guitar driven blues.  They were followed by Copperhead Road,  Bluegrass, Hillbilly, Grunge meets Led Zep, Black Sabbath & AC/DC!  At the end of their set they offered a choice of final song - very pleased to see AC/DC was the crowd's choice :-)

Not entirely sure about the ABBA tribute who topped the bill,  but if a singalong and a dance about is your thing ... they were just fine. 

The sun shone, the beer flowed, everyone had a good time ...
