If you are a non-Greek European and you buy a holiday home here it might be a fun idea to arrive at least once overland by car. Perhaps use your son's old banger that he had already planned to scrap. You can fill the boot and the back seat with crockery and linen that you bought at home and then you can abandon the car in the local car park where there aren't enough spaces to go round anyway. A right-hand drive car isn't much use here and it will never make it all the way back.
