In the Woods
It was far too hot to go walking today. Instead we took the boys for a stroll late afternoon, in the woods. The temperature gauge was still reading 30 degrees at 6 p.m.
It was too warm for any insect activity in the woods - just the occasional butterfly, who was far too occupied to slow down to have his photo taken.
This is the view from the river behind us. The damsel flies were out in force, and doing the conga across the surface of the water. Most of these weeds are underwater and just breaking the surface, but I liked the reflections.
