High and Dry
On route to Edinburgh to meet up with friends D & L we stopped off at the lovely little village of Limekilns where my grandmother was brought up and where her father had his butcher's shop well over 100 years ago. Sad to see that the shop still bearing his name (John E White) is lying empty - a local lady told me it was due to the retirement of the previous elderly proprietor.
As the blip shows the tide was out but it was lovely looking across to the new Forth crossing in the distance as we enjoyed an ice-cream in the warm sunshine - very drippy!
