Up early so by 6.30 I was in the car with a banana, cereal bar and flask of coffee, ready to drive to Keswick. 

First stop was by the stone circle at Castlerigg. Once around the field and I only took a few shots as the light wasn't good.  I was however fascinated by the cloud over Latrigg and Skiddaw. Don't recall having seen anything like it. 

1½ hours later it had cleared as seen in the first extra taken from Crow Park in Keswick. The second extra is from Castlerigg looking south.
