Day 18: Murs- Erigne to Ingrandes

The Loire expands and contracts along its long way to the sea. In many places there are long islands which gives impression on modest width whilst on the other side is a wide fast flowing channel. Here at Ingrandes it is over 600 metres wide with a vast sandbank.
Since joining the Loire every cycling day is exciting with changing landscape, interesting and varied villages and towns and the benifit of beautiful weather ...and company of course!
