Rooftops and Ramparts
This morning we spent some time exploring this rather lovely old town. From the ramparts we looked down on the town and noticed the bee hives had been placed along the castle walls and were surrounded by many different wild flowers. The roses in the flower beds and baskets throughout the town are really beautiful. There are so many lovely old buildings too. We had booked in to this site for two nights but have decided to stay another couple of days.
Albert Roux and his son Michel Roux (the Michelin starred restauranteurs) were born here.
