Cabbage Tree

I went to Christchurch to do my shopping and had to come home early because of the low sun. The shortest day is approaching and at my usual time the sun hangs blindingly over the road most of the way. Nevertheless, I arrived home very weary and concerned about strange noises in my car. My son unloaded the car and brought in the washing, but somehow, after I arrived home, I hurt my back. It’s painful to stand, walk, bend and sit in a low chair. Lucky I have a good supply of ready to use firewood.
