One of the best!

The last day of the tour today - Cruickshank Botanic Garden in Old Aberdeen this morning. It was rather disappointing after earlier visits as it was extremely weedy and the Curator's talk centred mostly on tree diseases..

This afternoon was the highlight of the tour - the private garden at Glenbervie near Stonehaven. Two dedicated gardeners, a few volunteers and an exciting and immaculate private family garden! My favourite of the week. 

Back to the rain and low cloud after four days of pretty good and mostly dry weather in the north-east.
