Common Blue Damselfly

I took my dad out to Carsington Water today. I never know if he can make it with his Rheumatoid Arthritis but he always feels better if he can get out and about for a few hours.

Later today I spent a lovely evening at Trentham Gardens watching the wildlife. This Damselfly wasn't actually flying around the lake edge but in amongst the grass.
