UNEXPECTED ITEM IN THE BLIPPING AREA

I went over to Kath's dragon pond this evening hoping for some butterflies, but the breeze had got up and they were all hiding. I think they only come out when she's about. I'd just read a small warning notice asking people not to dump fish or terrapins in the ponds and thought "surely not" when I spotted this beastie poking its snout through the duckweed.
