Biology workshops

The Year 6 boys went to the senior school this morning for a Biology transition activity which consisted of a carousel of activities in the various science labs. I joined them for 20 minutes and witnessed the moment some of them came face to face with a pair of lamb's lungs. It split the group... those that wanted a closer look (and touch) and those that moved right away. Interesting... not always the ones I expected to touch actually wanted to.
