In amongst all the excitement of the recent trove at the Valley of the Kings (sorry I mean Rose Street), I was basking in the sunshine of SW Edinburgh, when I realised I was 3 streets away from the recently respotted Cigs Van#2. 

So, with 20 minutes to kill before my next call, I slowly ambled around to the last known site. Not there. But! Not far away (a full 150 yards around the corner) was my quarry....

Recently voted Britain's Most Picturesque Street*, I felt I should once again record the suburbia that Cigs is so at home in. Far gone is the urban grit of Shurbhill and Easter Road; long gone the pastoral delights of Edmonstone and replaced by the creeping middle age of climbing roses and clematis; PTA meetings and local archaeology club membership. Unsullied it ain't...
