Steadfastly into Heaven

We took advantage of the nice weather today and visited several venues on this year's Glasgow Doors Open weekend.

This stunning ceiling can be found in the Cathedral Church of St Mary the Virgin on Great Western Road. The church was opened in 1871 and raised to cathedral status in 1908 and is listed as a category A listed building.
