Pilot Mountain

Pilot Mountain, a very old geological feature, is located about 20 miles north of Winston-Salem, NC.  We stopped at this overlook on the way to West Virginia to visit at my wife's cousin's house with the rest of the trip to Ohio to occur tomorrow.  The oldest granddaughter in the family is being married on Saturday.  She is in the same family as the grandson who graduated from high school on May 20th.  This is the first time I've been to Ohio twice within 30 days as it is about 11 hours of travel time.  I'm sure I have said before Pilot Mountain is the Mt. Pilot in the Andy Griffith Show that was on TV for years and now reruns are shown each day on some channels.  Andy Griffith was also "Matlock" on a TV legal series by the same name as the lead character.
