Sports day

A morning of sports day for D, C was in the afternoon.
D was happy to come away with stickers for coming 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Here he is putting in some super high jumps because he was so nearly not coming first!
C said sports day was pants as usual. He has a super fit class and never wins anything. Sports day is lots of fun for those that win. Every year I think it would be nice for kids like C to have a maths competition in front of the parents. He has to humiliate himself every sports day by always being at the back, yet he would excel in a maths day. It frustrates me because the whole day labels who is "sporty" and who is not - no matter how much sport they actually do.
I missed C's sports day as I was at meetings at rbs. I feel bad about putting my work before him, especially when he hates it so much. He loves sport so much, it's rubbish that this one day is so awful for him. Ah well, he only has to endure one more.
