On the spur of the moment we travelled to Thixendale a village in the Yorkshire Wolds. Having given Jet a decent walk in one of the many dry valleys we called in to Robert Fuller's Gallery. He recently appeared on Unsprung the offshoot of Springwatch. Not only does his gallery have some stunning paintings, prints and gifts there is lots of information about the painter and how he observes the animals and birds he paints. There are also webcams running and an obstacle course for his pet Weasel.

Well worth a trip if you are in the area.
