Stones, stones stones...

Second day of LH's walkover in the Borders. You always hope to find archaeology to record, but get increasingly annoyed as you find things that continually slow you down.

Today we found a very large number of these huge piles of stones. Clearly constructed as platforms of small stones which can be carried individually, the sheer amount of work is tremendous. Function and date unknown. Thoughts welcome.

RH came home from Cambridge and we hired a DVD for a relaxed evening.
