This is the back door to our house, with the steps down to the English basement apartment on the left. We are in the process of having it renovated to rent out on Airbnb. All going well until last week when a right old pen-and-ink started emanating from the crawl space adjacent to the steps. So we called the pest removal guys who came yesterday. Their report starts – “I removed one expired opossum and nest and large amount of faeces from under rear addition……" eww. He reckoned the critter probably got hit by a car, and had just enough juice left to get back home. Nice.
