First Signs of Autumn

Conkers!!!

They send me bonkers!!

Been looking for some for a couple of days now and have been spotting them on my cycle to work but hadn't been able to find any to photograph.

So when I spotted some at the roadside on my cycle home tonight I thought I'd stop and collect them in my rucksack. I parked my bike up against the hedge; as I was collecting a fellow cyclist passed by and must have thought I was in trouble as he slowed down to check I was ok! Bless him, so nice that he stopped to check even though all I could do was wave him on because I was just collecting conkers!!

Moments like this restore my faith in the human race!!!!
