When Charles met Henry

I was told my lunchtime meeting was in the Rolls Royce suite. There was no such thing.

I walked into the Henry Royce suite. Wrong meeting. 

So I headed to the Charles Rolls suite. Right place, I was a bit early.

The two of them met for the first time at the Midland Hotel in 1904. Royce an engineer, with a works in Hulme, Manchester (he produced his first car that year). Rolls a car dealer, with a dealership in London. Rolls Royce ltd was formed in 1906, and lasted until 1971 when the company went into liquidation. The name has been passed on.
