The Results of Lots of Rain........

It has rained off and on, all day.  I heard on the weather report tonight that we had had 9.5 " of rain since June 1st.  The average for June is 7".   We are past that, already, and it is only June 13!   I think this is a good way to replenish our water since we had such a drought all spring......
But does it have to be all in 2 weeks?

The lawn is beautiful and green, but very tall.  I need to find an opportunity to get it mowed before I leave on the trip, Sunday.
Oh yeah.... the flower is a rose from my bush....  first one this season!
