Sorry I'm late, I forgot.

Two days late in fact.
I observed, last year, that I had featured  Buddleja alternifolia to one degree or another on this date in three successive years and threatened to do it again. I wish you could smell it.
I shall plead mitigating circumstances
(I'll bet Al would have reminded me)
It first graced the screen (15 Oct '14) as a mere baby.
Last year  showing it all.
This year is both, keeping the tradition alive, and illustrating, as my long lost American pen-pal said of my brother...
"My, he certainly grew some.",
eliciting the obvious response, 
"Who are you calling gruesome?"
