New plans

Day started with plans to go through the rapids to Octopus Islands for some great kayaking and tranquil waters. Until I listened to the weather forecast. A major system shift bringing storm to gale force southerlies for the next few days. Exactly as we had planned to return outward. Of course! Disappointed but new that if we did not set off today and put some miles between us and the advancing system we would be stuck. Good decision in the end. Here we are entering Blind Bay near 7pm with 15 kts southerly in the strait.
