Digitalis Purpurea - common Foxglove and the provider of the essential ingredient of the pill I take every day to keep my heart ticking over regularly.

What a day, we've been in the local hospital ALL afternoon for a pre-op for Mr. T's non-existent date for his hand op ...... ??  

When I've had minor operations and indeed quite a serious op in the same hospital a few years ago it was the case that you had your op date sent through the post and the pre-op a week earlier, and which pre-op was undertaken by only one or two people.  It seems that it's all change now though and Mr T saw about 5 different people today, between each one, he was sent back into the waiting room for half an hour or so before proceeding to the next.

It's no wonder I've got behind with just about everything over the last few days .........   grrrrr.   I need another pill or more importantly a glass of wine!
