Just a bumblebee .....!

I'm no entomologist but I did a bit of a Google search and I think this might be a Brown-banded carder bee but then again it might not!

It was moving very slowly on the peony rose allowing me a rare opportunity to photograph a bee without the image being too blurred.

A very muggy afternoon ..... I did some work in the garden but found the conditions too oppressive for me so I came back indoors and did some of my patchwork.
