Giant Poppy

A few weeks ago I discovered something growing in the garden. Not knowing whether it was desirable or weed I left it alone to see what happened. Well, today's blip is exactly what happened - I think it is a giant poppy and there are several more large buds to open. The flower head is about 15cm in diameter. Actually quite pleased I didn't dig it up and lob it on the compost heap.

Off to Keswick this evening to watch a play about a man who is gradually becoming invisible bit by bit - Mr. B's choice of subject matter. Sounds weird and probably will be!
