Foals

The horses in the pastures where we normally walk Arthur have had foals. We will be avoiding the pastures for dog walks for a little while to give the mares a wide birth while they are with their foals. We did stop by the side of the road though and have a look. There were about 6 or 7 foals near us and probably a few further away. We watched them for about 15 minutes before one of the mares decided enough was enough and came over to us. After a quick stroke she turn her back on us and gave the gate a gentle kick. Cue for us to leave!
