Dinner en famille

A nice evening out at the popular French restaurant where my son works (he's featured in the extra at his post at the bar). Featured in the main, we have my husband, my mom, yours truly, and our youngest daughter. We all wished our eldest had been with us too: we need a 'complete' family!

Great food, lots of laughs, and a surprise: the sommelier brought over a wonderful Pommard Les Perrières, courtesy of some regulars at the restaurant, who make it a point to share their love of wine with other patrons; they select customers and either send over a glass of wine or, in our case, a whole bottle. It's done anonymously so we didn't know who to thank! They apparently do this every time they dine in that restaurant and are known there as the "wine fairies." What a great tradition!
