Carnival

Today was the town's annual carnival, marked by a colourful procession through the town led, as usual, by a marching band in their bright uniforms.  The fine weather brought out a good crowd to cheer the floats through the streets, and the main carnival site, with it's stalls from local organisations, food and drink tents, children's amusements, etc, was as full as I can remember.
