Dolly and the scary injection

I had to give Kiki her injection by myself this evening, it's the first time I've done it believe it or not! It was scarier than taking blood from a human, I was so scared to hurt her, but we managed through it and she seems none the worse for wear! Hubert was right over to comfort her afterwards, he gave her a thorough going over, you can see her ear is up where he was licking it, so cute!

I had Lewis talk me through it over the phone, he had left for work early as the road was closed and we forgot she needed her injection, oops! She was also at the vet again this morning, although Kiki's usual vet wasn't there! No obvious issue with her eye which means it's possible it's the roots of her teeth causing the issue! We are going to manage things at the moment as she's not in any pain, but we will be keeping a very careful watch on her!
