Squirrel Nutkin

L and I had a walk in the Botanic Gardens today. The rain stayed away but it was still fairly windy.

We walked first to the area where the squirrels can usually be found.  We only saw two and from another photo it was obvious that this little female had a nest of young somewhere. I had taken some peanuts which were quickly grabbed and nibbled ..... then down came the pigeons and the squirrels took cover.
