The wren's nest
I only had a 300mm equivalent lens with me when I found this wren nesting in a wall, and I couldn't get close to it without risking upsetting it. If we get some decent weather I'll go back again with a 600mm equivalent lens (my 810mm equivalent is unfortunately out on loan at present).
Incidentally the Wrens Nest is a geologically important site here in Dudley, and visible from my house. However, it is not a place a would risk going with a camera, nor indeed without a camera.
