An Everyday Miracle
It must take a lot of coordination to hang from two tiny blossoms, using three of your six legs, and then to insert your long tongue (see extra) into one of those blossoms to soak up the nectar, but this bumblebee was perfectly at ease in the late afternoon sunshine.
The natural world is endlessly fascinating, and a wonderful antidote to the nonsense and nastiness going on at high levels in our national government.
