Cascade Falls

This morning we took a trip to Cascade Falls which are just a few miles up the road from my sister's house. They have improved the facilities there since our last visit with a suspension bridge over the river just below the falls which gives a great access point for photo opportunities. I have some mixed memories of our last visit there as my lens cap fell into river just above the falls. In trying to rescue it I fell in the river but just about managed to clamber out against the strong current but the water was freezing cold as it was fresh from the snow melt. Fortunately it was a hot day and I was able to dry out a bit before returning home in the car. Definitely not an experience to repeat.
