The fisherman

A second after I clicked the shutter, he dived, came up with a fish and flew off in a different direction.  So much for my plans for sneaking closer to get a better shot.

It was a lovely morning  to wander around at the estuary. Good to  see the kingfishers again too as I haven't seen any there for a while.

There were terns diving and an NZ Falcon circling as well as the usual complement of swans, herons, stilts, shags and the odd duck and seagull. None were close enough to get a decent shot unfortunately.
